Gardening Gifts and Solar Power Vehicles
I was twenty in 1974 and home on spring break. Living in Ann Arbor was expensive, so I found a lawn and garden maintenance position that would last for a couple of weeks.
I arrived at the job site. It was a huge brick home with a large yard, and in one of the wealthiest areas of Flint. Our little home on the other side of town paled in comparison. As I apprehensively trudged toward the front door, I could almost hear the voices of some of the more radical students in my environmental studies class.
The rich are bad people who are wasting and using up our natural resources. They pollute the environment without consequences. Don’t trust anyone over 30!
